First Week In CCM
Well its been one week and it been pretty crazy. The first couple of days were honestly really rough and I wanted to go home but now I am all in. The food here is like ok but its probably like a fifty fifty chance thats it good. Probably my most favorite thing here so far are the Devontionals. They are super inspiring and always bring the spirit on a new level. They are very uplifting and also give me confidence and a boost of energy as well desire to be a better missionary. They are speaking directly to us with so much love that you can tell they are inspired messages. Sunday kind of felt like anyother day because you feel the spirt everyday here not just on Sunday but its a new experience for sure. One that that Ive prayed for a lot is for language and Ive been improving but not as fast as I want. My prayer was answered shortly after when one of the seventy was speaking at a devotional and had a very good message. But it was answered the next day when my campanion and I were walking around and he just happened to walk by us and he stopped by us and he asked me how my language was coming and how we were and I said its ok but not good and he put his arms around me and my comp (he doesn't even know me) and looked me in the eyes and said "don't worry the language will come" and it felt like God was speaking to me through him, it was crazy even though it was simple. All the speakers that have talked to us have just had love radiating off of them so the spirt has been very strong in those.
One thing that we have been focusing on this week was teaching with the holy ghost and how its very important for conversion. And all of our classes focus on spanish learing too as well but its hard. The temple was really cool even though i didnt understand much but that temple is very unique and has a lot of history to it. Anyways overall it has been a great learning and growing experience.
