Second Week Of MTC
I've been at the MTC for 2 weeks already and it's crazy how time flies. Not too much has happened other than normal spanish study, scripture study and preach my gospel study. We have really good devotionals here and we got the best news ever since I've been here. President Ballard and Elder Stevensen are coming to the CCM on December 9th!!! I'm so lucky I will still be here and they will talk to us here in person. Everyone was freaking out when the MTC president told us and I am so hyped!!! Anyways Spanish has been coming along but its mas o menos so not too great but I still have 2 more weeks here. As time has gone by Its beginning to feel like home here and as I've become more intune with the spirit I more easily receive answers to questions and words come easier to me. I was reading the scriptures with a question in my mind and as I was reading the answers in that very hour popped out to me it was crazy. I Ive never really used the footnotes but I was like clicking on all of them and they were things that i've never seen before and were reinforcing my answer. One thing I would like to share is when our district was having a meeting i was just worried about the language and stuff and one spanish older lady was just sitting in our meeting and she wanted to bear her testimony to us and even though her english was pretty bad I felt the spirit so strongly and she told us you don't even have to know spanish that well and you will touch the lives of many people. And i don't think it was a coincidence that she happened to be there. I walk out of my house everyday and still say to myself that I'm in Mexico, because the CCM is kind of a little bubble. I want to tell everyone thanks for all the prayers and thoughts for me. I am super grateful. Overall not too much has happened or was different from last week, I still have two weeks here at the CCM. Lastly my testimony has grown so much as I have studied and practiced sharing the gospel with other people and am overall grateful for my opportunity to be a missionary.
