Transfer Week

Hola Everyone,

There has not been a lot going on in NY this last week. We had a baptism planned but the bishop held it off for another week. The baptism was for James who is 12 and from Ecuador. His family is all members and have been going to church in other countries and places in the states. The bishop wants him to come to church in our ward at least once. We are planning his baptism for this coming Sunday.

This week is transfers. I have no idea if I will be staying or going somewhere new. I am ok with either. I have been in Queens for 3 months so it’s 50/50 in my mind.

I took a picture of a festival for a group of Ecuadorians. The people blocked off the entire street in front of a Catholic Church. They had erected a pole that had prizes on top. If you could climb to the top, you could have what you grabbed. There were actually people who made it to the top.

I pray you are all safe and doing well and I am grateful for all of your support.
