Transfer
Hola todos los personas,
It has been a couple weeks. I had transfers last week. I am staying in Far Rockaway but am opening a new area. I am moving out of my current apartment and moving into a new one not far away.
A really interesting thing happened a couple weeks ago. We were at church at our small branch. If you remember we meet in a rented room on the 5th floor of a building in Far Rockaway. In comes the Presiding Bishop Gerald Causse and his counselors. They spoke at our sacrament meeting. The counselors spoke about the truthfulness of the Gospel. Bishop Causse spoke about how he has always been the happiest in his life when he has the companionship of the Holy Ghost. It was really neat to get to meet with him and his counselors after the meeting. Crazy they would just show up to a small branch in little Far Rockaway.
I have been working with a family from Peru. The entire family was going to be baptized the Saturday after I left. Because I was so close, I was able to attend the baptism. The husband was not baptized, but he is close and a I think he will be baptized soon. My weeks of doing missionary work are a lot of the same thing everyday. We go out into the streets and just talk to everyone and invite everyone to church. We do get rejected quit often, but we do find those who are ready to hear about the Restored Church and accept our invitation.
The weather is starting to get cold. The day time highs are only only in the low 40’s now. I have had to dig out my sweaters and coat.
Thank you all for your love and support. Your prayers are felt. I know this work is the Lord’s work and I am honored to be able to be a part of the gathering of the elect. I know this Church is the only true Church on earth.
